The BJP Government is toying with the sentiments of unemployed youth in Haryana:- Kumari Selja
Intentionally created such a weak law that couldn’t stand in the High Court:-Kumari selja
Chandigarh, 18th November
The  General Secretary of All India Congress Committee, former Union Minister, Congress Working Committee member and former Haryana Congress State President Kumari Selja said that the promise of reservation for the youth of the state in private sector jobs was just a gimmick. It was clear that this law would not hold in the Punjab and Haryana High Court, everyone knew that. While making the law, BJP deliberately left loopholes with the intention of not fulfilling its electoral promise. BJP never wanted this law to be made and then implemented in the state.
In a statement released to the media, Kumari Selja said that the BJP-JJP alliance government is not for the welfare of the state and its people. The Haryana government is there to plunder the resources of the state. Their motive has never been to do good for the common people. Representatives of the government have been engaged in fulfilling their own interests from the beginning. Therefore, while paying attention to public welfare, they have not been able to fulfill their electoral promises till now. The former Union Minister said that while the BJP government that came to power in 2014 is openly recruiting youth from other states for government jobs, the youth of the state are unemployed. Now, they have also announced giving additional points to applicants from other states based on economic criteria. This makes it clear that the government is working to snatch away the employment of Haryanvis. The government that doesn’t want to recruit its own state's youth in government jobs cannot even support reservation in the private sector. Kumari Selja said that the BJP-JJP alliance government misled the youth of Haryana in the name of reservation in private sector jobs during the last 4 years. The law of 75% reservation was just a deception. The decision of the High Court to cancel the reservation proved that the coalition government was only misleading the youth. The government couldn’t even prove in court under which article of the Constitution this bill was introduced. The former Union Minister Kumari Selja said that it is clear that the government's intention behind the reservation bill was not honest and it was not properly vetted. The aim of the state government was only to deceive the youth. If the BJP-JJP alliance government's intention was correct, they would have brought the bill with the approval of the parliament and would have worked formally. But the state government believes in politics based on lies. Selja said that due to the anti-people policies of the BJP government, every section of society is distressed today, and the situation in the state has become pitiable, for which the BJP government is responsible. The work done against the people's anger and expectations is a danger to the future of the BJP, and the public will give its result during the elections.
